Useful information
The BB Casa Mafalda is located in Lipari in via Maddalena 15, in the centre a few steps away from the square of Marina Corta, the touristic harbour, from where boats leave for excursions to the Aeolian islands.

The most suggestive beaches are located 3 km from the centre of Lipari, and are largely formed by pebbles. They are equipped with free areas, and equipped areas for dining, the renting of sunbeds/umbrellas, canoes/pedal boats. For a pleasant snorkelling or simply a swim, there is 200 meters from the BB the free beach of Portinenti.
There are regular bus connections departing from the main harbour. Travel time about 10 minutes. The BB has an agreement with various transfer services for the beaches with direct departures from the structure.

The weather at the Aeolian Islands
The climate of the Aeolian Islands is known for being particularly mild and for having frequently clear skies, this climate favours the stay in the archipelago in all the months of the year. The average minimum temperatures vary between 7 ° C in January and 22 ° C in August, while the average maximum temperatures vary between 12 ° C in January and 30 ° C in August. The rain is more consistent between the months of October and January. The sea water temperature in the Aeolian Islands goes from a minimum of 13 ° C in February to a maximum of 27 ° C in August.
